Pasta Sauce Recipe gone horribly wrong

[UPDATED with photos and a priceless finishing move]

This is a pasta sauce recipe lifted from southernfood.about.com. Using this recipe to the letter was a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE THING, and I’m tempted to put up a scathing review on the page itself, just so the author feels some sort of PUNISHMENT for what she’s done to my life this night.
